Post-UTME past questions & prep
Keep your momentum after JAMB. Practise for university screening with Post-UTME packs and timed tests.
What Post-UTME is
After the UTME, many universities, polytechnics and colleges run their own screening for candidates who chose them and met their cut-off mark. This is popularly called Post-UTME. Depending on the school, it may be a written or computer-based test, a review of your O'level results, or both. Each school sets its own format, so always read your school's official screening notice.
How to prepare for Post-UTME
- Don't stop after JAMB. Post-UTME questions usually come from the same subjects you wrote in the UTME, so keep practising.
- Practise school-style questions. iSharp Post-UTME packs help you get used to the question styles used in university screening.
- Add general knowledge if your school tests it. Some schools include current affairs or general questions.
- Practise under time. Many screening tests are short and fast.
How your aggregate is usually calculated
Many schools combine your UTME score, Post-UTME score and sometimes O'level grades into one aggregate score to rank candidates. The exact formula is different for each school, so check your school's admission notice. What stays the same: a higher UTME score gives you a head start, so make your JAMB past questions practice count.
